Get Closer
Awake to the sounds of baboons in the African bush, ponder sunrise over the Namibian desert, track fresh pawprints in a Game Reserve, glide silently through the waterways of the Okavango Delta, watch the whales breaching on a boat trip, sip sundowners overlooking the mighty Victoria Falls, have dinner on Cape Town's trendy waterfront, listen to ancient bushmen stories around a night fire and fall asleep to the sounds of the bush.
Perhaps not all achievable in one day, but certainly a taster of the experiences Southern Africa can offer.
Contact us for itinerary ideas to make these amazing experiences a reality.

Why Book With Us?
At Native Escapes, we select accommodation according to particular interests, season of travel, budget and availability. We have travelled extensively in Southern Africa, and have a good level knowledge of the destinations and things to do. When you book, we ‘flesh out’ your itinerary with suggestions for things to do in each area, and will provide maps and directions to each destination with your final paperwork. We pride ourselves on our
Testimonials from happy Clients.
We have on-the-ground services by way of ground handlers, who provide an excellent service in the event of emergency. Because we purchase accommodation through ground handlers who sell to agents such as ourselves around the world, we have access to excellent rates which are not available for direct bookings; you should pay no more for direct bookings than if you book through us.
Finally, we comply fully with the UK Package & Travel Regulations 1992. Holidays with flights included are covered by the company's ATOL Bond (Air Travel Organisers' Licence) held by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). Our ATOL number is 9709. Holiday without flights included are covered separately by an insurance policy with IGI. This means that in the unfortunate event that our company should fail, any necessary repatriation and any refund of monies paid to Native Escapes in advance will be arranged by the CAA or IGI respectively.
Note that booking directly does not provide any financial cover in the event of any suppliers going into administration – and is often more expensive.
Drive the stunning
Garden Route, with Cape Town and a Safari, or let us design a
self drive trip in
Namibia. Combine a Safari in
Botswana with Mozambique or
Mauritius and the Victoria Falls, or see wildlife from a houseboat on the Zambezi. We can fit itineraries to your requirements. Or see our Small Group Guided Trips in
South Africa and
Namibia.
Stay in a luxury lodge at the Victoria Falls, experience Botswana’s fabulous wilderness and wildlife before heading to the beach in
Mozambique,
or Mauritius or
Zanzibar. For Safari & Beach itineraries, combine a safari in Kruger National Park with a
Mozambican island or the
beaches of Mauriitius. Combine
Cape Town with the Blue Train and a safari, or take a
Bushwalking Safari in Zambia.
Mini Bush-Ranger courses at some safari lodges have the kids learning the art of bush survival: combine a
family safari with watersports on the beaches of Mozambique or Mauritius. Or take a self drive adventure trip with kayaking, a tractor trip, cycling and a safari on the
Garden Route.
Imagine your wedding ceremony under a big Jackalberry Tree in the African bush ... or on the deck overlooking a waterhole frequented by wildlife!
We have a choice of romantic locations: as well as game reserves, you might opt for the Victoria Falls, or the beautiful winelands.
