Mauritius lies in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. The island is warm all year round - December to April briungs hot summer temperatures in the mid-to-late 20's 'C, and this is followed by a cooler, drier period from May to November, when temperatures average around 22'C.

Flight time from the UK is around 12 hours: there are direct services with Air Mauritius or British Airways, or indirect with Emirates or Air France.

Accommodation standards are high - and there is a fabulous range of hotels to suit a range of budgets. Many offer non motorised watersports, and most offer an all inclusive option.
