Our Small Group Trips are ideal for those wanting like-minded company combined with authentic experiences. We welcome those travelling alone, with friends, or couples. Our trips are aimed at adults, and would not be suitable for families. The trips are either fully-guided or semi-guided, and there are usually 'free days' in each itinerary where guests can choose from a range of optional activities or trips; or alternatively do their own thing.

Group trips run with between 4-12 guests (dependent on each trip): we stay in comfortable accommodation which may range from luxury boutique hotels in towns to permanent en-suite tents in the bush for an authentic African experience. In all cases, there is an emphasis on a genuine welcome, good food and local knowledge that can only come by staying in smaller establishments.

Fully Guided trips are led by a local expert: the guide will meet and greet at the destination airport and remain with the group throughout the trip.

Each itinerary gives a breakdown of what is and is not included. Please note that the prices do not include international flights: for information on getting to the destination, see Joining Your Trip. Unlike some other group trips, we do not make a 'local charge', preferring instead to include all entry fees, dinners at bush camps, etc, in the holiday costs. We have made effort to ensure that there are some free meal times where guests may choose where to eat.

In most destinations we feature, it is customary to tip, and we give guidance on this in each of the trip dossiers.

Our scheduled group departures are ideal for individually-minded, adventurous people who just may not have a travelling companion. There will be a mix of people on our trips: couples, friends, and people travelling individually, so guests can be assured we are not targeting 'singles holidays'. Our Guides will make all guests feel comfortable and looking for some adventure - but not keen to travel alone will have the benefit of an authentic African experience in some good company.

We will then call you back to take your deposit. Alternatively, you can call us to secure your booking and make deposit payment by credit or debit card or print out the booking form and post it to us with your payment.

Tailor made and self drive trips are ideal for family safaris, honeymoon safaris and anyone looking for flexibilty and a personalised itinerary. We can create bespoke itineraries to specified requirements, and have included sample itineraries to give some ideas. Escorted tailor-made trips are lead by qualified and knowledgable guides who are thoroughly knowledgable about their country, the local wildlife and local cultures. Their experienced eyes make for a highly valued wildlife exprience as they have the ability to spot wildlife submerged into the bush and their knowledge makes the trips informative and fun.
