The Covid pandemic has had a huge impact on the travel industry. Along with a complete shutdown of travel, there has also been ever-changing travel corridors and a massive reduction in air services. But with increased numbers of vaccinations taking place, there is at last, some light at the end of the tunnel. Your peace of mind is of the upmost importance to us. Our teams on the ground are taking all the necessary steps to ensure your experience is enjoyable, but above all, safe.
Throughout this crisis, we have been communicating with our customers whose trips were affected and either rebooked them to another date or provided a refund to all those customers that were eligible to receive one. We have delayed and been flexible with balance payment dates and we have negotiated hard with suppliers on the ground to ensure that rates have been honoured for re-bookings, so customers have not been hit by price increases.
We recognise this landscape is still evolving and whilst some countries are opening up and travel restrictions are being lifted this is not the case worldwide. As the situation is still changing worldwide by the day, we are ensuring we stay up to date with government guidelines and FCO advice – this can be found on the links below.
If you are thinking about travel before summer 2021, we would be delighted to work on a bespoke trip for you, as long as you are happy to be flexible about your itinerary and are prepared to postpone and rebook your trip if it can’t go ahead due to borders being closed.
If you’d prefer to book with more certainty that your holiday will go ahead exactly as planned, then we’d suggest booking a trip to depart later in the summer, by which point one would think that the Covid situation will be much more stable, with further progress made with vaccinations and arrival and departure testing.
We are ATOL bonded, so this means that should anything unexpected happen to us as a company, your money is safe.
