Self-drive Namibia. The Aston family
Our trip was absolutely fantastic! The holiday of a lifetime!
We are so grateful to Native Escapes, and their ground handlers for a brilliant experience!
Despite booking late, the team were able to find accommodation, and make up not only a workable itinerary, but an excellent itinerary! We had plenty of our own ideas and the staff at Native Escapes didn’t rest until we had something which included all our requests, and was realistic in terms of driving. They also answered myriad questions with great patience and sometimes research from the team in Namibia.
Every day was different! Despite the hours of driving, (average probably 3-4 hours per day) we had great fun in the hired 4×4, and the terrain was so varied, it was never boring!
The accommodation varied every time, and all the lodges were excellent, with friendly and helpful staff, great food, comfortable beds, and each one with very much its own character! We particularly loved Spitzkoppen and Safarihoek, but all were really memorable, flexible in terms of the activities they offered, and full of character.
From our very first minutes in Namibia, we felt supported by the team. We had an excellent briefing session at our (lovely) first B&B – the team were helpful, understanding and well organised. They spent as long as was needed with us to ensure we knew exactly what we were doing and felt safe in terms of driving on the often fairly remote Namibian roads.
The vehicle they chose for us was also excellent – perfect size for us, and a strong 4×4 which served us well, with no problems whatsoever.
Thank you so much – it was a truly amazing holiday.

Safari and Beach. The Ring Family
We had a great holiday – the whole safari experience was absolutely fantastic – everything from the lodge, the food the service and the animals. I really could not recommend the safari lodge highly enough. A particular highlight was a surprise dinner in the bush. Flying in and driving out worked well, in that we saw a little more of SA.
Mauritius was good – although (inevitably) quite a contrast from the very personal service and experience in Madikwe – the benefit of the larger resort was the activities – we waterskied every day and snorkelled / tennis etc. Which we would have missed had we gone somewhere smaller. Overall a pretty decent resort with some great views and good facilities.

Botswana and Vic Falls; Ms Takacs;
We are back safe and sound with lots of unforgettable experience. We enjoyed our trip very much. It’s true, once you go to Africa, you want to go back again. 🙂
You were absolutely right offering the Pans as a first, introductory destination. The camp had a unique atmosphere and the people are also very nice – which is true for all the people we met during our trip. The Delta was absolutely superb. Our guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Wildlife-wise this was the best place of all.
Chobe was really luxury, but Chobe National park was busy after having spent 3 nights in the Delta. The waterfalls is worth visiting, but I think it’s enough to spend one day in Victoria Falls.
We would like to thank you for the organisation. Everything went very smoothly and absolutely on time – nobody was even one minute late.
We were quite satisfied with the service we received everywhere, it was a super holiday. Thank you!

Tanzania Safari – Mr Barros
It was an outstanding trip that we will carry it with us for the rest of our lives.
The guide Ephraim was the best guide we have ever had over Seven continents, over many trips, over many years.
We had a chance to experience two wildebeest crossings, which was one the highlights of the trip.
Thank you for making this trip happen and for your outstanding planning and follow up.
Great job and you exceeded our expectations.

We had a brilliant time in Botswana and Zimbabwe.
We enjoyed all of the places but decided that our favourite was Somalisa. It was the ambiance of the camp combined with fantastic staff and excellent game viewing.
We were lucky enough to see all the big cats along with a multitude of other wildlife including a very cute baby elephant.
