We had a super time in Namibia – what a beautiful country!
All the accommodation was extremely good, we were surprised by the spaciousness of the rooms and the welcome we received at each lodge made us feel rather special!
Food was excellent, plentiful and the extras such as drinks etc. were very reasonably priced.
Our guide at Hoodia Desert Lodge was particularly good and made a great effort to show us just how much life there is in the desert.
Ongava was rather special, with the illuminated waterhole and that super hide. In fact we didn’t feel it necessary to go into Etosha, we were very happy with what we saw on the Ongava reserve – and it was just magic having a sundowner with a mother rhino and her calf just a few metres away.
Africat was full of surprises – amazing ‘View Room’ and Cheetah tracking on foot included in the deal. Thank you also for liaising with our daughter to arrange for the ‘champagne dinner’ on our final night there – we were totally dumbstruck!

From the moment we walked into the hotel room at Victoria falls and saw a small group of elephants walking past our window to the guided tour of Soweto we have had such a great time.

Diverse Namibia, Mr and Mrs Raftery
We have returned safely from Namibia. It was an absolutely wonderful holiday. We’re so glad we didn’t try to self-drive! Because of the guides, we had some magical experiences we’ll never forget. Thanks for all your help. We had a good briefing before we started the safari, as well as a Namibian SIM card for my phone, and reusable water bottles; that seems a very nice touch. I cannot imagine a better guide/driver than Charles Gaingob. He grew up in a Damara village and can read animal traces or identify birds with great speed and accuracy. He was at all times careful and mindful of our safety. He ensured that all our questions were answered. He took us on routes that we found fascinating, and got us into some private encounters with elephants and giraffes. On top of it all, he was great fun to be with, whether driving or sitting at the dinner table. The tents, cooks, cleaners, and other facilities of Wilderness Safaris far exceeded our expectations. Thanks again for helping us to have this fantastic experience.

Cape Town and Safari. The King Family
We all had an amazing time in South Africa, thank you. The combination of eight nights in Cape Town, followed by two nights in the Winelands worked perfectly for us.
Then, just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, it did, with the lovely Motswari Game Reserve and surreal game drives.

Just to say the vacation was excellent and the service was very good.
The whole experience was superb and we now intend to go back and maybe do some of Botswana and Namibia at the same time.
