Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our trip to SA. All the arrangements worked like clockwork. The driving directions made getting from a to b easy. All of the guest houses/hotels you chose for us were excellent and some were outstanding – we loved the old fashioned charm of the Drostdy. And we really liked the variety of the locations on the coast and in the Karoo. The vastness, panorama and quietness of the latter were particularly appealing.
So many thanks for setting up such a varied and interesting trip for us.

We had an amazing trip and this was enhanced by our Driver / Tour Guide Theo. An absolute credit to himself and the Safari Company.
I don’t know if Theo does it for all customers, or because it was my wife’s 50th birthday on the day we trekked to the gorillas, but he had a word with one of the guides to take just the two of us on a private trek to see one of the families. So that made her day extra special.
The greet at the airport was very welcoming and all info needed was given. The City Tour was interesting and taken to Hotel Mille Collines for lunch and listen to interesting stories by Theo about ‘Hotel Rwanda’.
The Ruzizi Resort is very unique on the banks of the lake. The tents are excellent and sit really well in their surroundings. The Safari drive was good and the Ranger was informative. From there we were driven to the Gorilla Mountain View Lodge, which took nearly seven hours and Theo did an amazing job getting us there safely. The food was excellent and enjoyed the fact there was local vegetables to try.
Overall a brilliant holiday.

We had an really excellent trip and came back glowing with joy from it all – thank you.
Our accommodation in Cape Town was terrific and the location was very good. The service, however, whilst OK was lacking. The lodge in Chobe was super, the ‘hosts’ completely delightful and the service excellent although the food quality was not quite top-notch. In Zambia, Tongabezi proved to be much better than our expectations. They looked after us like we were visiting royalty and it was stunning. We’d go back again anytime and can’t recommend it highly enough.
We were very fortunate to completely miss any wet weather, which was a miracle at this time of year, so Chobe and Zambia were perfect as far as all outside activities were concerned. We loved the full day excursion, with the morning ‘cruise’ on the Chobe river being one of the highlights of our whole trip. The Livingstone Island excursion at Vic Falls also blew us away.
So overall, we had one of the best holidays we can remember and want to experience yet more of Africa. Thank you for all your care, consideration and attention.
