South Africa Safari and Cape Town
That’s us just back from an amazing holiday to South Africa.
Thank you for making it such a memorable trip for us both. From the incredible beauty of the big 5 at Kruger to the exciting and vibrant atmosphere of Cape Town, to the stunning scenery of the Garden Route, everything was just perfect.
Thanks again for making this trip memorable. I will not hesitate to arrange another trip through you when we have saved up enough money for a future trip to this fabulous continent.
I will also recommend Native Escapes to any of our family, friends and colleagues who are thinking of taking a holiday there.

Our holiday was wonderful and I think we are all struggling to get back to normal life. We have been to India, South Africa, Canada, Australia before but there was something about Namibia.
I felt adventurous but safe and pampered at the same time.
It was great because we went with very good friends. This really helped with the driving. I was also a bit sceptical about just staying in each place for 2 nights but for the most part it was good. We could have perhaps done another night in Swakopmund but as I say 2 nights everywhere else were good.
All the accommodation was different but great in some way. They all certainly suited us as we do not like hotels so having a hut/chalet to ourselves with our own outside space was just perfect. We were impressed with the quality of the food and wines at the lodges. The staff were so friendly, helpful and professional.
So thank you very much. We can fully recommend you and Namibia to anyone. We loved the isolation.

The trip was great fun – just my sort of adventure and I enjoyed it enormously.
The guide Jeremia was exceptional. It would be hard to find fault with him. Friendly, attentive, caring and hugely knowledgeable on a wide range of topics ranging from ecology and conservation to geology and history and politics. He brought the trip to life and made us aware of the tiniest insects and flora in the desert as well as the big wild animals. He knew where and how to find things and how to get close to them. Also a very competent driver over some very difficult terrain.
The tented accommodation was, by my standards, luxurious ‘Glamping’!
Very clean and comfortable and well maintained by the housekeeping team. The catering was also good with plenty of well prepared food and drink served in fantastic settings.
Namibia is a huge country and I know I’ve experienced only a small part of it. As a small group we were able to get off the beaten track and experience some of the true un-spoilt wildernesss of the country rather than just following the traditional tourist trail. I have returned home eager to visit Africa again.
Many, many thanks for facilitating the such a life-enhancing experience.

We had the most wonderful holiday in South Africa. The itinerary was perfect as was the accommodation throughout.
We believe you must have told everyone of our 50th Wedding Anniversary and my birthday, since several of the hotels gave us very special treatment.
This made the experience even more memorable and one we will always cherish.
Our last few days spent on safari was the perfect end to our holiday. Darlington, our field guide, got the safaris just right and also provided the opportunities for us to experience wonderful sun rises and sunsets over the reserve (including “cocktails”).
Here, at our final dinner, the staff produced a lovely birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday in English followed by Happy Birthday in their own language – so special.
Many, many thanks for the excellent arrangements you made for us.

A memorable trip. Full of surprises since I have really never stayed in lodges quite like these.
Vincent was a jewel of a guide.
The Dunes left me speechless. That’s why people go there. Our tour included the Himba people, astonishing separation from the modern world.
What a privilege.
